The pole stays in place by pushing up against the ceiling. It has a big rubber pad at the top, and it is effectively the friction between the rubber pad and the ceiling that keeps it in place. It also has a rubber pad at the bottom, which keeps it from slipping on tile floors.
The pole can be extended to fit a variety of ceiling heights. The MINIMUM length of the pole is 2.4m, and the maximum is 3.1m, which means that the height of the ceiling at your venue needs to be between those values. To change the length of the pole, you simply turn the top section to extend or shorten it. It takes about 5 minutes to set up the pole.
Please ensure that your ceiling is suitable to put the pole up safely. Ceiling height must be between 2.4m and 3.1m. The ceiling can be concrete, knotty pine or ceiling board. As the pole needs something solid to push against, in the case of ceiling board the pole will be put up at a spot where the ceiling board is nailed to a support beam. In this case the beam supports the pole, and not the ceiling board.
No, the pole will not damage your ceiling. You can rest assured that our Pole Bunnies are well trained to put up the pole and will not put the pole up if they feel that there is any possibility of the pole damaging your ceiling.
Please note that it is YOUR responsibility to ensure that the ceiling is suitable when booking a party. If the Pole Bunny arrives and discovers that the ceiling is not suitable, you will still be liable for the full payment.
The parties normally last around two hours, depending on how many ladies participate in the pole dancing. If you have a time constraint, please let your Pole Bunny know beforehand, and she can adjust the routine accordingly. Remember to include about 15 minutes in your planning for preparation (setting up the pole, etc.) by the Pole Bunny.
Although it is much more fun if everyone participates, we understand that not all ladies are comfortable doing this. While your Pole Bunny will gently encourage all ladies to participate, she will never force anyone to do so against their will.
Yes, a deposit of R500 is required to secure the date for your party. The deposit is fully refundable if you cancel the party AT LEAST 2 weeks beforehand, and will be deducted from the total amount due on the evening.
